Anni fa al mare incontravamo sempre in albergo una signora che chiamava il figlio a squarciagola "DAFFOOOO". Non abbiamo mai scoperto come si chiamasse in realtà, era sicuramente italiano ma boh... È rimasto Daffo per sempre.

Di divulgatori che "si gonfiano come tacchini" ce ne sono parecchi, non dico che mi piacciono ma tagliarli via del tutto vorrebbe dire per me non seguire più nessuno o quasi. Se l'argomento mi interessa e avverto che non ci sono sfondoni gravi sopporto anche gli atteggiamenti di questo tipo. Invece non mi piacciono proprio quelli sarcastici e "spiritosi" tutto il tempo, sopra le righe.

La novità di mia mamma è che dice che vuole andare a casa. Che andrebbe benissimo, senonché lei sta già a casa sua e non sapremmo proprio in quale altra casa farla andare. Se le chiediamo a quale casa si riferisce dice Non lo so, sono confusa. Le diciamo che è già a casa sua e non ci crede. Ha iniziato a dirlo sporadicamente qualche mese fa e adesso è un'idea fissa.
Ripetere le stesse cose per gli stessi stimoli non è il massimo ma anche gli stessi stimoli COCCIUTI da 10 anni non scherzano eh.. Le faccio passare spesso ma in questo frangente storico di revisionismo mi sarei un filo stancato..

We knew we couldn’t make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalising both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders, raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did.
In 2007, the US Army Corps of Engineers built a bridge over a gorge between the Kunduz province and Tajikistan. The bridge – a standard dual-use infrastructure – stimulated the economies of both countries by providing an international outlet for Afghan heroin. Kunduz city was home to one of the main Delta Force base camps, and ‘a choke point controlling access to the alpine supply route’. ‘No wonder’, Harp writes, it ‘was the site of such fierce fighting’. The drugs didn’t stay in Central Asia, of course, just as heroin didn’t stay in Laos during the Indochinese wars. And just as the US blamed the Nixon-era epidemic of heroin on Turkish poppies, Mexico became the scapegoat for the opioid outbreak during the Bush and Obama years.
