a proposito del report sul blackout spagnolo, il commento del FT: "Opponents of wind and solar power sought to portray the grid collapse as proof that power systems more dependent on renewables were inherently more unstable. ENTSO-E rejected that assertion.
Cortinas said that “what’s very important from now on is that every kind of generation”, not only renewables, “has voltage control capabilities”.
He stressed that the necessary technology already existed, including devices known as “statcoms” that act as voltage shock absorbers and protocols that ensure generators only disconnect if voltage spikes are prolonged.
“There is nothing in the recommendations that cannot be done tomorrow,” he said.
