bezdomnyj: Perhaps you misunderstood what I meant by renaming them. You would not be really renaming them. You are only using a frenfbook to create an alias for it. This is not something you can not already do. The image above is a screenshot of how I have already done it for mine. But you might forget the real name, so you should be able to add a description of what is in your frenfbooks (which you can not do at this time). Being able to add the link to the actual room will help you remember which room it's really for, as well as a quick & easy way to get there from your frenfbook alias, so you can post to it. Your example is something I can already do now by subscribing you to some nasty rooms and adding them to your current frenfbooks and then hiding the room from your room list. Your friend can already subscribe you to a Justin Beiber room and hide it in your "Science" frenfbook, full of people that share lots of science posts. They could also do something like that on Friendfeed or Twitter, too. This is not a unique or new problem. - April Russo - -

[IMHO] [two unsolicited cents] text strings used for naming rooms should be univocal, like the URL, once you set a name for a room no one should be able to name their room in the same way - more than a couple of rooms have been duplicated in the migration process from ff to here, (ex. "stanzetta dei bottoni" ect.) [just suggestion not request]

I'm not sure, but as a temporary solution you could use bookmarks for this. after commenting someone's post just press the little banner next to the smiling emoticon, and then use "my bookmarks" to check discussions. - bezdomnyj82 from Android - -

I just notice that sometimes the number of comment is wrong in excess: the link shows 2 comment and clicking on it open only one. My assumption is: for some reason the deleted comment are counted instead of being skipped (I assume that no physical delete is performed)

[brainstorming] About possible new names for "frenf.it", I think it would be nice to link the new identity to Douglas Adams' narrative universe. It would be a clear reference to the past for former friendfeed users without beeing too obvious and cumbersome, while being funny and easily engaging for possible new users. I'm speaking of the old "So long and thanks for all the fish" and "Don't Panic" attitudes, widely representative for specific groups of possible users.

There might be a glitch in Likes and Unlikes: if I'm in the everybody-feed and click on the number next to the smilie or the frownie, I get nothing. It works fine if I click on the number while in someone's feed, but not in the multi-feed. (P.S. Thanks you, Senape, for frenf.it.)

to see the list of user who liked something there is a trick that sometimes works, for now. This could work if the post/comment is not one of yours. Just add a like and then click on the number again, and the list should be visible. Then you can remove the like I you feel the need. By the way, this bug is only on the new "home": if you visit your feed page, or a specific room feed other than home, you should be able to see the list as well. - bezdomnyj82 from Android - -
