(C'è un esperto di VMware in sala?) Ho un vecchio pc con WinXP e vorrei virtualizzarlo e portarlo sotto VMware Fusion. Mi scarico il PC agent di VmWare sul WinXP, faccio partire l'installazione (da account amministratore) che va bene filo allo start dei nuovi servizi. I nuovi servizi non riescono a partire e viene generato un errore 1920 (non sufficienti privilegi) e un sottostante 1053 (timeout).

Ho provato ad aumentare il timeout fino al massimo possibile e ad assegnare esplicitamente l'utente amministratore ai nuovi servizi ma senza risultato. - Von - LW&R - -

Ho usato Disk2Vhd di MS per crearmi una copia del disco in vhdx. Poi con starwindconverter ho convertito vhdx in vmhd che piace a Fusion. Poi da fusion ho creato una macchina virtuale e le ho assegnato il vmhd. Tutto bene a parte una dll del firewall che non so perché s'è sminchiata. Ho disabilitato il firewall in modalità provvisoria - Von - LW&R - -
