For our non-Italian speaking friends: if you have FOAF enabled and you don't want to see messages from a room, the only viable option is TO SUBSCRIBE that room, then to open the Frenfbooks page and deselected the room from Home frenfbook. - .mau. - [ 1 ] -

[SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT] Amigi, Frenfs, I'm going to modify the behavior of the direct messages and of the private (locked) feeds. Now the messages are more secure and the page is loaded faster. Moreover, the locked users now may publish public statuses, and there will be a kind of follower-but-not-accepted status. These modifications impact the frenfbooks management, and here you come.

[bug] forse ne ho trovato uno simile a quello di Geps. Stanzetta, interno giorno. Vedo un thread con un commento e il "+Altri 1 commenti" (immagine 1), clicco sul "+ Altri ecc" si apre il commento ma sparisce l'ultimo che prima era visibile. Avevo cancellato subito uno dei due commenti perché me lo aveva duplicato (altro bug che mi capita di tanto in tanto, non ho ancora capito in quali condizioni, ma penso che sia un bug già noto). Successivamente sono ricapitato nella stanzetta e ho visto che c'erano ancora entrambi (ma se espandevo ne restava solo uno), così ho cancellato anche l'altro... insomma prima c'era un solo fantasma ora ce ne sono due. - GePs - -

[PROBLEM LOADING THE HOME PAGE] Hello dears! Somebody is having problems loading the home page (internal server error). I've found the issue (thanks to @felter and @invernomuto) and I am already working on a patch. In the meantime, to make the home working again, go to preferences and disable the foaf option. I'll try to install the fix this evening. Thank you all.

[DIRECT MESSAGES - WORK IN PROGRESS] Dears, I've noticed that the behavior of the direct messages is not really clear, that the counter does't work correctly and, last but not least, the performance are quite poor. So, here's few words on how it works, its problems and what's going to change

1. You can only send direct messages to people that follow you. You can post a dm from any page, just add its name in the recipients box. If it's in your following list, it will appear with the autocomplete, otherwise nothing happens. *IMPORTANT* By default, sending a message to an empty list of recipients means to post a PUBLIC message.
