Che poi di nicchia il fumetto lo è sempre stato, dall'inizio (parlo di qui, Italia), considerato sempre una cosa di serie B, infantile, se non diseducativa. Ci sono sempre stati diversi modi di usufruire del fumetto, uno popolare, più distratto, anche saltuario, e uno più consapevole, per così dire, di chi metteva il fumetto alla pari delle letture di altro tipo, le visioni di certo cinema, ecc. Cambiati i tempi, gli interessi, la tecnologia, cambiate le vendite - crollate, certo. Ma chi ha visto il fumetto come arte espressiva valida è sempre stata una minoranza, neanche gli Eco e (non mi viene il nome, il giornalista che aveva la rubrica in tivù) hanno potuto cambiare granché le cose. - Patrizia Mandanici - -

Il fumetto fonde il 2029 di RoboCop e il 2029 di Terminator in un riuscito crossover tra due franchise multimilionari. Quella che in teoria poteva essere solo una bieca operazione commerciale è però anche un eccellente fumetto d'azione in cui due celebri futuri distopici sono fusi con maestria in un'unica galvanizzante vicenda. - nda - -

OS X users have today been hit with the first known case of Mac ‘ransomware’ malware, found in the Transmission BitTorrent client released last week. Infected versions of the app include ‘KeyRanger’ malware that will maliciously encrypt the user’s hard drive after three days of being installed. The malware then asks for payment to allow the user to decrypt the disk and access their data — the ‘ransom’. As reported by Palo Alto Networks, Apple has already taken steps to curb the spread of the malware through its Gatekeeper security system. This means the infected version of Transmission will no longer install, but it does not help those who have already been affected. Transmission is urgently recommending people upgrade to the latest version of its software, 2.91. - nda - -
