Suggerimento: se la foto a cui punta l'avatar di un utente o di una stanzetta non esiste più, non sarebbe possibile visualizzare una o due icone standard invece del bruttissimo placeholder di pic mancante?

Sarebbe già qualcosa. Se l'immagine fittizia che segue un 200 Ok in quei casi fosse qualcosa di visualizzabile non sarebbe nemmeno un grosso problema... oppure si potrebbe limitare la possibilità di importazione degli avatar a due o tre servizi ritenuti affidabili (gravatar, imgur e qualcos'altro) in modo da sapere meglio cosa ci si può aspettare e predisporre i comportamenti più opportuni in caso di errore... - GePs - -

credo che, dopo un po', le foto anonime vengano cancellate. Almeno, nelle varie piattaforme tipo Tinypic è così. E poi son madonne quando nei forum ti trovi tutorial con foto "anonime" e "pic not available" perché cancellata dai server - Mister Quokka - -

(unisco i puntini) quindi uno si configura un servizio di upload di immagini (tipo imgur) dal menu, poi usa il link di upload e le immagini finiscono lì in modo trasparente. a me va bene, mi va di mantenere il (o un certo) controllo sulla roba che pubblico. da notare che se uno carica su imgur a iosa con un tool esterno a un certo punto viene bloccato da un captcha, così, tanto per antcipare il troubleshooting. - low level - [ 1 ] -

una cosa (che non è una ficiur ma dà parecchio fastidio) che vorrei veder aggiustata è la cosa del www/senza www che mi porta a non riuscire ad aprire i singoli post da un link postato (da quello diretto non c'è problema): se sono loggato su frenf.it senza www posso aprire le pagine con il www, ma mi chiede di loggarmi e non posso commentare, e se mi loggo non si vedono i commenti: se, invece apro le pagine senza www (o lo tolgo dall'url) non mostra i commenti e basta.

Concordo, è una sciocchezza minore ma non sarebbe male se venisse sistemata (con priorità bassa). Nel frattempo, prova a loggarti due volte sia con che senza www: i cookies dovrebbero eliminarti il problema fino alla loro scadenza (se ti si ripresenta con new.frenf.it, arifallo anche lì) - Fabs - -
