The Jameson Caskmates ad reminds me of my 1st time serving myself from a pop machine at a fast food joint: I can mix everything together! 😐

When I worked at a fast food joint, the kids from the middle school across the street used to come over and ask for a Junior Suicide: every flavor from the pop machine mixed together. (No, this was not on the menu.) - bentley - - (Edit | Remove)

FB's future "dislike" button is to sympathize with posts that it would feel wrong to 'like'. OR YOU COULD JUST TYPE A MESSAGE OF SYMPATHY.

Local Dallas bakery is running a promotion where anyone who brings in a clock gets 20% off their order. However, cops in uniform always get a free slice of pie. But 20% free pie > 12.5% free pie so I think they're siding with the clock people on this one. - JustDuckie - - (Edit | Remove)

So great that in THREE HUNDRED AND SIXTY SIX DAYS FROM NOW the US still won't have finished this election yet.

Remember when everyone was (understandably) concerned that a third Bush would be the GOP candidate? Good times, huh?

"1. The Adventures Of Mr. Superabilities And Detective Ladyskeptic" - I somehow missed this two weeks ago. http://www.npr.org/sectio...

"We've been spending a lot of time on the changes in television, but what about the things that never, ever change? What about the things that come back year after year, with slight variations, sometimes to great acclaim and sometimes to quick cancellation? Let's take a tour of some of the conceptual habits that seem hardest to break -- and I will tell you, every one of these is represented, to a degree, by at least one or two new fall shows." - Andrew C - - (Edit | Remove)

I just watched two different J-Dramas that could be described that way (though in one, Detective Ladyskeptic is actually Detective Manskeptic.) - Jennifer D. - - (Edit | Remove)

Really solid work by SF Muni to name two very different train terminuses "Ocean Beach" and "Ocean View" … and they're the M and N trains.

For L&O's 25th anniversary, let's wonder about the alt universe where NBC passed on L&O but picked up the Dick Wolf's ninja series instead.

"She parted her full lips and smiled. "My name is Shahliha." The mysterious, shapely maiden in the pearl-gray cloak who had shadowed his steps ever since he had alighted from Corsair's Breakwater had been his sister all along, then! The lass he had not seen in eighteen years, since the night of the red doors - kin to him, and his last link to a family he thought lost forever. "Thank goodness none of our previous interactions were tinged with eroticism," Danveniel thought to himself as he helped her from her horse. They'd never touched one another, sexually." - Andrew C - - (Edit | Remove)

I went to an art gallery crawl in SF last year. A lot of rich ladies were dressed just like in Dharma & Greg, so yay for verisimilitude.
