Any fontmasters out there? I'm trying to track down a free font that's very similar to the "Allstar" part of the photo below. I'm currently wading through dafont.com to see if I can visually match it but it feels like it'll take a while. Help?
There are other solutions but that's the one that was recommended to me (and also free). Keep in mind also that it might have been a custom logo and isn't a typeface at all.

As proof that no good deed goes unpunished, my only real winter coat suffered a vicious rip in the sleeve thanks to the surprisingly sharp handle of the mailbox as I was clearing a path for our mail carrier. On the good side, it was finally revealed that my wife didn't really like that jacket anyway. So...winter jacket shopping I will go. :)

The transplant was a success. The patient is experiencing only mild amnesia and we expect full memory recovery. The replacement was overdue. A lot of time had gone by. Suffering through Miami summers and Virginia winters, it's no surprise that the battery for our car bought in 2008 needed replacing. Now...about those forgotten radio stations.

Well, after much hullabalu I finally now have a new keyboard with Blue Cherry MX switches. It's definitely louder than my previous Logitech K740 keyboard. Now to get used to not having to mash the keys quite so hard to be sure I just typed. Clackity clackity clackity. I am a man of simple pleaures. (Now to see if my typing speed improves any.)
A wireless version would be pretty awesome. I don't think it'd eat batteries any faster. Well, the backlighting would but I could deal with that.

And now our first year filing taxes as an S Corporation. It was more fun thinking of all the things we might be able to put against deductions than having to figure out and gather up proof for them. Whee?

Day 2 of Windows 8 on a new touch laptop. It's not terrible but it still feels weird. Now if I could just connect to my work's wireless network to keep the updates and software installations going. The best part is the CPU jump from an older i3 to a 4th Gen i7. Wheee!
I'm also getting used to Windows 8, from Windows XP. Mine has a touchscreen but I've hardly touched it because I keep forgetting I can!

I think I may be in trouble. Well, not trouble but...well, you decide. After taking her papercrafting live webcasts off Ustream and to a provider of our choice, she's had a number of folks asking what to use, how she did it, etc. I think she wants to be a small Provider for the crafting industry. Live broadcasts, blogs, video archives, etc. -->
Well, I think she's taken things down a notch or two. We have an extremely generous plan for live broadcasting so we can easily host two or three more live broadcasters. And then apply the lessons we learned while figuring out the whole process. :)

Huh. I just got my code to join the Google Glass Explorer Program. I'm quite surprised by this. I'm also sure they must be inviting a LOT of people as well. While they do have new, less awkward looking frames, I'm still not about to shell out $1500 to figure out how to incorporate the technology into my life. It's tempting in a lot of ways, though.
Oh my. I've just been informed that there's a chance I'll be able to get these next month (if still available). That would be an interesting birthday present. :) (Of course, with the chance of possibly getting them I'm even more on the fence of if I want them at all.)

You might be shipping a lot if you order a bag of these from ULINE. Or three. (That's 7 cu. ft of biodegradable packing peanuts.)
So, the three bags we ordered back in February ran out yesterday and were, thanks to very convenient timing, replaced with three new bags today. Not quite two months...but pretty close.

I don't think so. A had a few imported posts before this but nothing before April 5th. EDIT: it's possible I signed up before then but I doubt it would have taken me too long to get imports going.
