As proof that no good deed goes unpunished, my only real winter coat suffered a vicious rip in the sleeve thanks to the surprisingly sharp handle of the mailbox as I was clearing a path for our mail carrier. On the good side, it was finally revealed that my wife didn't really like that jacket anyway. So...winter jacket shopping I will go. :)
