The email a pastor friend of mine sent out to clergy about their participation in the Good Friday Community Service included this "gem." NOTE: We will not robe/vest but you can certainly feel free to wear your Clergy collar or Shit and Tie is absolutely fine.

Does anyone remember whose cat was having a problem licking its fur off on one spot on his/her body until the skin was raw? Was it Katy S.? My older cat is doing the same thing now.

fwiw, Plum seems to be doing well. Her fur is growing back in and she isn't gnawing on herself all of the time. If it didn't work, we were going to try supplements and/or steroid shots. She had a steroid shot when we thought it might be allergies and it helped then. I did keep her coned until she had the oil in her system for a few days. - friarw - -

I cutted my hair. What do you think? I left the one side of my bangs longer than the other. Does that look goofy? I can straighten them out or leave them as is. Your opinion is being solicited here. :^)

I, like many others, have finally had it with Apple's Podast App. This is especially so since it no longer syncs with iTunes and because I have an older iPod (only about 2 years old) I cannot get the latest iOS update that is required to update Podcasts. What a lousy jerky move Apple.

I've been pretty lucky with the current iteration of the app, but also like PodCrunch if you do have the option to download it. The 'playlists' feature is a bit overhyped, but is a pretty decent player. - friarw - -

After having been on the road off and on since 7:30 am (with stops to see my mom, coffee with a friend, and a quick visit with another friend in Norwood, Ohio), I finally arrived home at 2:00 am. What a very long day. :^)

My mom continues to improve slowly, but as of the time I left this morning, she was still on a feeding tube. Hopefully she will pass a swallow test soon and can resume normal eating. - friarw - -
