Jor-el shoulda put the whole population - or at least his own family - in the Phantom Zone, then rocketed a robot + PZ projector off-planet.
Figures. Also, it was too long for the tweet, but in the 1986 reboot, Kryptonians were physically unable to survive off-planet, which was at least more logically sound than "only had enough time to build the prototype rocket which was only big enough for the baby".

It's very limited thinking to see the Incredible Hulk and think "the way to counter that is with one robot suit just barely big enough."
Alternate Hulkbuster proposal: repulsor-armed drones that form an orbital shell around Hulk, knock him into the air and keep juggling him.

I feel like "Hulk Juggling" could easily become an Asgardian arena sport.

Yeah, I'm already following Terrible Real Estate photos, but I think it's slightly different, possibly because the stakes are higher for TRE's listings. TRE usually has bad presentation of acceptable places. Worst Room has _appalling_ places.

I didn't get it at first - I think they have a sign up when they're trying to recruit, and then it hit me.

Which I guess raises the question: why doesn't the Kingpin just leave Hell's Kitchen to DD and run the rest of the city?

Laundromatch is basically Uber for laundry. I'm not 100% certain if it's real. Also, I took a sketch comedy class last summer and a classmate pitched "Uber for laundry" as a joke idea.
I'd lean towards real, if just because that seems like a much better fit than car services, really. Unless you live somewhere really big, sending laundry out is prohibitive (I LOOOOOVED that service in DC, even if I only did it a couple of times.)

The prices Laundromatch quotes are quite high. I pay $7 or so for two loads at my local laundromat, and in LA the wash and fold service cost me ~30 for approx two loads, not $24-30 per load.

"I knew I needed to do something to silence that nagging, doubting voice in my head. Right around then, is when I started doing improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) in New York. Tina, as well as a bunch of the other writers had come from an improv background. And they encouraged me to take a class."

"So I took one, and then another, and then I got on a team that performed there every week. It was so freeing, in a way that (although I didn’t know it then) I desperately needed. At work, I was paralyzed by a fear of making mistakes, of saying things that people didn’t think were funny. Improv fixed that. In longform improv, the kind they do at UCB, you make up funny scenes on the spot. There’s no time for second guessing or being in your head, because it’s happening RIGHT NOW. I learned to listen and trust myself and feel okay if no one laughs, because often they won’t."

Going to a Von's when you're used to Safeway or vice versa must be like how it feels to accidentally jump into a parallel universe.
It's turned off for now, but I believe there are plans to turn it back on (as well as the real-time feed.)

“I think I understand,” Harry said. “The right to life is the source of all rights -— and the right to property is their only implementation.”
Dumbledore smiled. “Which means…”
“Which means that without property rights,” Harry exclaimed triumphantly, “no other rights are possible.”

YouTube will offer all the same videos without ads for a monthly fee, which hasn't been set yet, according to the note. The service is also likely to include offline access. Google is alerting content creators because it wants them to agree to new terms that would let it include clips in the subscription product.

I've seen the Tumblr import working for a few users, but not Twitter. I've added them, but am holding off on importing until people have finished settling in.

Yep, I just tried and it worked. Click Preferences - Services - Add a new service - Tumblr. I tried my tumblr url without the '#39" target="_blank">http://' as the page says, but that failed. Tried again with '#39" target="_blank">http://' and it worked.
