"L'incidente dell'11 maggio 2005: Gli effetti dell'impatto di un volatile su di un AMX brasiliano simile a quello pilotato da Parmitano. Proprio durante il corso in Belgio, l'allora capitano Parmitano impattò con il suo AMX l'11 maggio 2005 contro un grosso volatile mentre volava su La Manica. Pur con l'abitacolo quasi distrutto dall'urto, senza ausilio della radio, colpito dal flusso aerodinamico e tra grosse difficoltà, riuscì comunque a riportare il velivolo a terra, rinunciando a eiettarsi e colpendo con la sua impresa la comunità aviatoria. Mbe .. state sereni che una medaglia d'argento non la danno aggratise... Valutato che le medaglie d'oro sono praticamente per i morti .. l'argento vuol dire che la possibilità di morire era da 1 a10 .. 9,9. Con il Radome in quelle condizioni vuol dire che una parte è andata a finire dentro le prese d'aria ed hanno trovato la turbina praticamente a pezzi.. e lui lo sentiva eccome. E sopratutto hanno volutato che non ha messo in pericolo i civili e non è stata una bravata ma un preciso, freddo atto professionale. - friendfeed from FriendFeed - -
