After recently hearing about how Twitter is (supposedly) heading towards the digital graveyard, I think I'm actually more interested in it. After all, we've apparently been zombies on Friendfeed for years. I highly doubt Twitter will completely die, regardless of their foot-shooting efforts.

Woot! I just stumbled across the website for the South Riding Running Club. Once we get to our new place, I had wanted to get back out running again. So many good things are happening related to this upcoming move. Of course, I can't wait to get everything packed/unpacked/set up/etc. and get on with "normal life". :)

So earlier this week, we signed a lease and I am in the process of setting up all the utilities, etc. I came to a funny realization about what I consider a "utility". There's gas, water, electric, and....internet. Those are the things that I consider essential to moving in. I don't need TV or phone, just those. :)

Boy, how technology spoils you. Forget about the fact I can get great satellite views with Google Maps or even "Bird's Eye" views from Bing Maps, I almost got annoyed that neither of them had a Street View of the location I was looking for. So spoiled! :)

So maybe I'm just the weird one but I've always opened my envelopes on the short end. It seems faster and contents tend to spill out less that way. How do YOU open an envelope?
