About Dark Knight 3: I liked DKR a lot but didn't think Miller got Superman the way he got Batman. And DKSA just wasn't my cup of tea.

DId you get the same awful vibe from seeing a book from Frank Miller subtitled "The Master Race"? - Steven Perez - - (Edit | Remove)
from what I vaguely remember about DKSA, and given the DK3 cover -- I'm guessing the "master race" are Kryptonian descendants? - Andrew C - - (Edit | Remove)

.@theshrillest I like how news stories about DK3 were like "DKR is a classic and DKSA is … also a comic".

Small and unrepresentative sample, but I haven't seen ANYONE say that MAN OF STEEL color saturation fix looks worse than the original.

It is legitimately inspiring how hard the Daredevil show works to never say "New York", only "Hell's Kitchen".

I just now realized that Sandler's movie was one of the ones they're doing. I love that they're claiming that "the cast is in on the joke." I mean, clearly not. Or, at least, the ones who left weren't. - Jennifer D. - - (Edit | Remove)

The only way I could see a Galaxy Quest show being fun is if it were some bad 80's cartoon version that had Guy Fleegman and his girlfriend as the main characters and bumbling comic relief. - Jennifer D. - - (Edit | Remove)

"The guiding principle of the DC movie universe is cribbed straight from Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, but rendered even more explicit through Snyder's indelicate touch. It asks the question, "What would our real world be like if superheroes existed?" It takes the /idea/ of Superman rather than the established character from the comics and extrapolates that across every facet of reality. Only the nerdiest among us wants to see Superman as an undergrad thought experiment. Most people would prefer to see him beat up robots and save cats from trees." - Andrew C - - (Edit | Remove)

If Lucas had kept on revising the original trilogy, eventually Obi-Wan would have measured Luke's midichlorian count.

What do you mean "If"? He is still revising the original trilogy, making small (and some large) changes to it each time a new copy of the movies is released. - Friendfed Mr. Noodle - - (Edit | Remove)

That would be nice, but I'm not holding my breath on that. Also, because of the weird licensing, etc., Disney still doesn't really seem to own "Episode IV" yet (the other 5 movies are available through Disney Movies Anywhere, the first one isn't). - Friendfed Mr. Noodle - - (Edit | Remove)
