We fight so much about the 'G' in GIF, but what about the 'I'? Long or short?

That cast photo from "The Unauthorized Full House Story" -- I really thought those were the real FH actors and I just didn't recognize them.

I'm not getting any search results from Twitter on desktop for tweets I _know_ I posted. (Yes, even when I switch the results from Top Tweets to Live.) Weirdly, I can find some of them when searching from the iPad app. Weird, a few months ago Twitter's search was rock-solid.

Let's have an NYC meetup! I will be visiting Fri Jun 26 through to July 4th. But unless you're going to the Del Close Marathon (it's improv comedy, not running for 26.2 miles), I will be nearly unavailable till Tues the 30th.

In the local reporting on this event, I remember reading a claim along the lines that the flag isn't about racism, it's about the antebellum South. I can't find that quote now, but there are some gems in this article on a previous country music concert in Camden: http://articles.philly.co... - John B. - - (Edit | Remove)

That's a great idea for my next car, honestly. Though, I am tempted to go with a Banks-ian 'Culture' name if I can think of a good one. - Jennifer D. - - (Edit | Remove)
Jennifer, that's exactly what my husband said he'd do if he got a minivan. He had a whole list of great names for it. The only one I remember (probably not exactly) was 'That Was an Armadillo'. - faboomama - - (Edit | Remove)

"I am referring to Google's inability to control the distribution of its Android software. This problem is so severe that in my opinion Google's innovations are helping its competitors more than it helps itself." - Andrew C - - (Edit | Remove)

"Google is enabling its competitors and it seems unable to do anything about it. This is because Google at heart is a server software company and in servers when one updates the software every user is instantly migrated to the new version. Devices are completely different and old versions tend to hang around for far longer than anyone could possibly imagine. The result has been endemic software fragmentation and an inability to bring its innovations to market in a timely fashion." - Andrew C - - (Edit | Remove)
