Still very anxious about the whole house buying thingy. Hoping the appraisal comes in where I need it and that the financing doesn't fall through. No one else (the banker or the realtors) seem worried, but that doesn't keep me from being so.

I was exactly the same right as my house stuff was closing - there are a lot of moving pieces, and a lot of hopes attached to them. If your realtor and banker seem pretty solid and unruffled, then there's every good chance that they know things will sort out well :D - Jennifer D. - -

2 not so light shovelings of snow have been done. I anticipate at least one more, maybe 2. Also podiatrist appointment in 30 minutes. My second of the year. This is one of the signs that you are getting old.

4 shovelings for today. My podiatrist said that if the corns between the two smallest toes keep redeveloping I may need to have surgery to remove a piece of bone from each of the offending toes. It took six months for them reappear this time. We will see how long it goes before they reappear again. - friarw - -

I finally have a signed "Agreement of Sale" for the house on Plum Street. Tomorrow afternoon I am off to the bank to decide upon a mortgage. Wish me luck, especially around 2 pm EST.

Can someone set me up a excel spreadsheet that I can use with the following columns I can sort: Location, Price, Taxes, Est. Mortgage, Gas Heat, Central Air, Garage, Off Street Parking, 4 Bedrooms, Move In Ready, Fenced Yard Everything including Gas Heat on would be "Yes" or "No" answers. You guys/gals are my only hope. I am excel ignorant.

Before going any further on my house search, I am waiting to hear if I qualify for a first-time home buyers program. I might hear about this by the end of the week. I also may need to wait till the beginning of March when I find out if the measures I have taken to raise my credit score have had any effect.
