So our office building was broken into last night and someone stole a laptop. This is the third laptop we've had stolen in less than a month. I am thinking these criminals are less than intelligent because they are committing a federal crime for nothing more than a paper weight.

It just makes me wonder how many Facebook "users" are just a bunch of random crap people think is funny. (Like my co-workers making a profile for their bunkhouse.) And that doesn't even touch all the Farmville/<insert annoying game here> folks making extra profiles to give themselves gifts. That's a whole other level of Facebook that I'm not going to touch. - Jenny H - -

"Off the Florida Keys (map), hundreds of stinging tentacles dangle from a "pink meanie"—a new species of jellyfish with a taste for other jellies. When pink meanies were first observed in large numbers in the Gulf of Mexico (map) in 2000, they were though to be Drymonema dalmatinum, a species known since the late 1800s and usually found in the Mediterranean Sea, the Caribbean Sea, and off the Atlantic coast of South America. Recently, though, scientists using genetic techniques and visual examinations have revealed that this pink meanie is an entirely new species—Drymonema larsoni, named after scientist Ron Larson, who did some of the first work on the species in the Caribbean." - Jenny H - -
