FYI: There was a group of young non-believers in classical Athens who called themselves the "Seekers of Ill Fortune." They went around blaspheming in the most shocking ways they could think of, like breaking in to temples and feasting on the offerings, and claimed that their not being struck by lightning or similar fates was evidence against the existence of these gods.
