Well, you librarian types were of no use to me at all in my dream last night. I was at a Library that had Ed Asner as the head librarian, and many of you FFers as employees (LB, Mary, Holly, warmaiden, etc. . . ), and none of you could help with my research topic - The Impact of Using the Lectionary on Aging and Dying Congregations.

in 1975 the minister at our Unitarian Universalist church wrote a sermon he jokingly called "Church Trek", which he based on some of the TOS stuff. we cringed a little but also loved it. - friarw - -

I am glad I don't have to work tomorrow, or for that matter until June 6th. It is 3:39 am and I just got home from the airport, unpacked a few things, and am propping my feet up for a few before going to bed. But I had a great time in Las Vegas, and Kelli and Eivind are two very wonderful people. I am so glad I got to meet them.

Well, it's 11:26 pm Vegas time and 2:26 am Will time. I should leave this McDonalds where I am using their internet and walk back to the hotel and get to bed. Gonna go see the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead tomorrow.

Eivind and I hiked up to 9,270 feet in order to see the Mary Jane Falls - a three hour hike. Of course we started at around 7,000 feet, but I am going to claim the higher number. :^) Also, it is hard to breathe up there and Eivind is a patient man to wait while I caught my breath multiple times.

So does BBC America delay broadcasts of Dr. Who for a week on Comcast's On Demand service? They must because episode 13 is not there and tonight's broadcast on the channel is episode 14. I can't watch the end until I see episode 13! My life, such as it is, sucks! :^)

My new definition of hell: Having lunch with my ex-wife, ex-mother-in-law, two ex-stepsons and an ex-brother-in-law, with their assorted boy and girlfriends. All so my daughter can be there with that side of the family. I would just drop her off, but she really wants me to stay with her during the lunch. Keep me in your thoughts and/or prayers.
