In the summer during which I borrow money, today I called my credit union to change my address with them to the new one, and I ended up pre-approved for a car loan because I guess I need to start car shopping.

This condo-buying process has gone from frustrating to ridiculous. I was supposed to close yesterday, but my insurance agent didn't get the info to the mortgage company until Tuesday morning, so the docs didn't get to the underwriters until 11:30, so they were concerned it wouldn't get done for Thursday. Then Thursday, I get an email from mortgage dude...

...asking me to call him. So I called, and apparently the Association's flood insurance (it is, technically in a flood zone) doesn't have enough for the underwriters to sign off. They called the association, who couldn't help. They called the insurance carrier, and didn't get an answer. Their next step was talking to the realtors (seller's specifically) to see if they could help. I suspect closing won't happen today and around 4AM today I woke up from a stress dream around this because if this doesn't go through, I have to find an apartment next week. My landlord has someone moving into this unit Aug 1. And if I have to find an apartment, that means a year lease most places. I'm trying to trust that this process will work out, but I'm not yet convinced it will. - ellbeecee - - [ 1 ]

Taking advantage of the rental car that's larger then the Yaris was to load up the trunk for goodwill before next month's move.

I reserved an economy car last year when I was getting ready to drive out to Michigan. Our local Enterprise office was out of economy cars (as they usually are), so they gave me a full-sized Dodge Ram pickup, instead. Sadly, I just couldn't get things organized quickly enough to be able to haul anything that needed to be hauled while I had it. - Friendfed Mr. Noodle - -

And now I'm in a pickup truck - it's a Ford Ranger, so not super big. It was my dad's, and then my brother has had it since October. I'll use it through closing and the move, .then give it back and start car shopping in earnest. - ellbeecee - [ 3 ] -

Related to this post http://frenf.it/earlyadop... from a couple of months ago, I currently have an offer in on a condo. They've countered, and I've countered back. This stuff is nerve wracking. And then I still have to make it through inspections and closings and such.

Huh. Realizing one of the things I dislike about FB is that everything's tied to my real name: it's not that I'm hiding anything, or that anyone googling "ellbeecee" won't get me, but I am LBC,, and I'm used to being called that.

I'm going to be putting in an application to pre-qualify for a mortgage at my credit union. If pre-qualified, I will then begin looking for a place to buy. I'm not nearly adult enough for this.

Aha! You want to make sure that it's going to "il mio feed", not just, say, LSW? It looks to me like if you just post, it goes to your feed by default. If you pick a room, it goes just to that by default, but you can have it go to both by selecting both? Maybe?

anyway if no recipient is specified it goes to your feed ("mio feed" is "My feed" as said above) - if you're specifying a different recipient (room or user) the default feed is disabled, and you should re-enable it. - bezdomnyj82 - -
