The #sorrymeme was when someone would post a picture to try and get a reaction from others and sarcastically apologize for posting them. People would randomly bump this post on FF and we can't let it die over there.

TL;DR: non sono morto. Longer version: 1) I'm dealing with the aftermath of the lightning strike at work (yes, still working) that took out our server, backup hard drive, and one computer. Trying to rebuild everything and help interview for my replacement. 2) I have an offer on my house. The inspector comes on Friday morning to check everything out. The buyers can't close until mid-July so if this offer works out, I'll be stuck here a little longer. 3) It finally stopped raining in Houston.

All the big furniture I need to sell has been sold. I got my car repaired today so it's good to go for the drive .. and I signed up for AAA! The realtor is ready to put my house on the market on the 30th (she says it's best to wait until after the holiday). And I have a 3 day weekend to do yard work, pack, and clean my house. Oh ... and I was able to get work financials through 12/31/14 and I have rebuilt everything up to mid-March already. LET'S GET THIS SHOW ON THE ROAD.

Ziva found (?) a dead squirrel, brought it to her favorite place to play with toys, and rolled all over it. Squirrel was removed from the yard. Then, we both got baths. Happy Mother's Day!

The office was struck by lightning during the storms last night. Everything is fine .. except the server is fried. The surge protector either failed on its own or the current was too much. So, I logged into Carbonite to pull a backup and the IT guy who set it up fucked something up because our main files are missing even though it updated yesterday at 5pm CST. Anyone want to guess what I'll be spending my last two weeks doing!?!? Hint: Rebuilding and recreating ALL TEH files.

Tonight's experience selling furniture: I've been talking with a woman this week about buying my dining room set. She wants to pay less than I want for it, but I said I'd take it if she brought cash and picked it up tonight. She and her boyfriend arrive 45 minutes after the time SHE scheduled .. in a small sedan. They come in and look at the table and all the chairs. Then, the boyfriend asks, "Is this heavy?" Um, dude, it's a solid wood table that sits 8 and it's longer than your fucking car.

One of our community members was moving not so long ago. He lived in a central area of Milan, with lot of nightlife nearby. To get rid of his stuff, mostly books, he decided to leave a cardboard box on the street full of them, with a sign "I'm moving I'll never dump books, so if you can find something interesting for you, please take it home..."
